Kabuletê (formerly VM Cultural) has existed since 1987, dedicated to safeguarding the legacy Vinicius left to his children, in accordance with his wishes regarding how that legacy should be managed after his passing. We administer Vinicius’s literary and musical body of work and hold both the moral and economic rights associated with it. Above all, our mission is to preserve and maintain the highest standards for the dissemination of Vinicius’s work, both in Brazil and abroad.

Our work aims to promote the output of this multifaceted poet, providing access to students, teachers, researchers, and admirers of his prolific body of work—all of whom can rely on this site as an authoritative resource. Everything is managed through the combined efforts of the family and the professionals who guide us. We strive to keep pace with changing times and new directions, honoring the vision of a man, a father, and an artist by bringing him where he always wanted to be—close to his readers and his audience—while ensuring that his rights are respected as they justly and deservedly should be.
